"Key shattering Boogie Woogie" is how the Guardian newspaper described Ben Waters after a concert at Ronnie Scott's—known for energetic performances and powerful renditions of early boogie-woogie and Rock n' Roll. Waters always plays music that he loves, the music of his heroes Fats Domino, Jerry Lee Lewis, Amos Milburn, Little Richard, Ian Stewart and a host of other piano players.

In recent years Dave has built an international reputation as a fine blues guitarist and singer. For 10 years he led the house band at Shake Down Blues, a specialist promoter of black American blues in the UK giving him the opportunity to work with 40 great black American blues musicians.

Hitman Blues Band

The Hitman from New York City and his Hitman Blues Band play original Modern/Alternative Blues and inspired versions of blues classics = blues for the 21st century! The common thread for every tune is the blues - from soulful blues ballads to foot tappin' music to make you want to dance. Powerful vocals, ripping guitar, a solid rhythm section, stirring backing vocals, plus a little humour in the narrative. This is a blues show like no other.
Frontman and band leader Russell ‘Hitman’ Alexander has New York City in his veins, blues in his heart, and the music of many worlds in his gifted hands. The man in the shades, top hat and sharp suit on stage with that tight band in that dark club is playing real blues, informed by 50 years of mastery of New York City’s thousand styles while imitating no one.

American vocalist, Kat Pearson’s sound has been described as “New Generation Blues”. She delivers her vocals with a dynamic and contemporary flavour with the backing of her excellent 4 piece band, including slide guitarist, Francesco Accurso, Fred Parodi on keyboards, Paul Michael on bass and Vincenzo Infusio on drums. Kat has shared the stage with many great artists, from Chicago Blues Queens Deitra Farr and Peaches Staten, to Blues Hall of Fame inductees Mud Morganfield and Lil’ Jimmy Reed.

Will Wilde Band

Will Wilde has taken the harmonica way beyond its traditional blues roots since he first emerged on the music scene in 2010. Always pushing forward, evolving and redefining his sound. He gained popularity on Youtube with his awe-inspiring harmonica covers of classic rock guitar solos such as Lynyrd Skynyrd's Free Bird. Throughout 2022/23 Wilde has been touring with his critically acclaimed rock band Bad Luck Friday, but 2024/2025 sees him return to the blues with the recording of a new solo album.
Wilde’s hard-edged harmonica steals the spotlight from the traditional blues rock guitar, with a sound that owes as much to Gary Moore as it does to Sonny Boy Williamson.

Erroll Linton Band

Erroll Linton won the UK Blues Challenge 2024 and nominated for UK Blues Awards in 2023 and 2024, representing the UK Blues Federation both at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, USA, and the European Blues Challenge in Braga, Portugal.
Anyone interested in contemporary British blues/roots music will be aware of Errol Linton. The Brixton born, raised and resident singer, harmonica player and songwriter has earned his spurs as leader of the most dynamic live band in the UK – Linton and band take the stage night after night, making music that gets audiences dancing and cheering. This is the funky stuff, blues with a reggae tinge and jazz flavours. Black British music with roots in Mississippi and New Orleans, Kingston and London. Linton creates a dynamic, original sound like no other artist anywhere.
